Mr President,
I am a Moroccan citizen whose profession is journalism. I have been retired for years and have previously visited your beautiful country several times… First, I would like to say that the Kingdom of Morocco is a long-standing friend of the United States of America… and my country was the first country to recognize America’s independance. I am certain, Mr. President, that what unites our two countries is the necessity of us respecting and defending together the same values… the values of peace , freedom, justice, democracy, and human rights. By the way, I claim that any of us has the right to alert the other if he does not respect these universal values. America’s greatness should not be measured by its economic, technological, and military power, but by its work, in the same manner as its early pioneers, for peace and non-alignment with ethnic or religious motives.
Mr President,
I am writing to you today to say that your recent positions regarding the painful events taking place in the Middle East do not respect what brings us together… You did not support peace, nor did you strive to stop the bloodshed… Rather, your statements were violent, biased, and far from human civilization, which is the basis of our friendship… .

Mr President,
Let me remind you that when Europe was kidnapping Jews and sending them on trains to hell, the Kingdom of Morocco was guaranteeing their lives and freedom… The Jews in my country did not carry the humiliating yellow badge on their chests as they were forced to do on the Old Continent. When the echoes of this message reach you, thousands of Palestinian children will be martyrs under the soil in the context of an unjust war, and history will write that youd did not rush to save them and the morthers from the bombs of destruction…
Mr President,
The bombs dropped on Gaza made in your country exceed the atomic bomb that you dropped on Hiroshima… What is happening today is tantamount to « hollowing the Palestinian middle » and falling within the framework of crimes against humanity… Let me assure you that military force will not solve the problem. It will not destroy the hopes of the Palestinians in their natural right to life, freedom and dignity as was the case in Vietnam and Afghanistan. Our friendship for two centuries is today in a critical situation, and your position do not contribute to reassuring us in order to preserve the moral and moral contract that unites us. A positive initiative on your part will restore hope to your friends and to the residents of the region.
Please accept, Mr. President, expressions of greeting and appreciation.
